| Malyssa well
remembers the satisfcaction and excitement of seeing her creations in print
during her early years. Between ages 6 - 10, illustrations and stories
created by her appeared in national children's publications including Humpty
Dumpty, Stone Soup, Shoe Tree, Creative Expressions,
Children's Written & Illustrated, Reflections, and Spring
Tides.She now enjoys encouraging other young writers and artists.
Though she has not pursued publishing in recent
years, she has continued her writing through personal journaling. She is
currently co-authoring two books with her mother:
